Responsible Investing
TTPL's driving principle is responsible investing. It is a method of investing that seeks to incorporate Environmental, Social, and Governance ("ESG") issues into investment decisions in order to better manage risk and provide long-term, sustainable profits.
TTPL has adopted the Private Equity Growth Capital Council's eleven-point principles for 'Responsible Investing.' The company has also implemented a policy known as the "Policy on Management of Environmental, Social, and Governance Aspects" ("ESG Policy"). The ESG Policy informs TTPL's decision-making process as well as those relevant to its investments.
- Remain dedicated to IFC Performance Standards compliance, as well as any national, state, and municipal labour laws in the countries where TTPL operates and/or invests.
- Commit to ongoing progress in environmental, social, and governance management.
- Take into account environmental, public health, safety, and social issues associated with target enterprises while deciding whether to invest in a specific company or entity, as well as during the ownership period.
- Make an effort to reach out to and interact with important stakeholders, either personally or through representatives of portfolio companies, as necessary.
- Strive to grow and improve the firms in which TTPL invests for long-term sustainability and the benefit of diverse stakeholders, including environmental, social, and governance concerns. Seek to use governance structures that provide appropriate levels of oversight in the areas of audit, risk management and potential conflicts of interest and to implement compensation and other policies that align the interests of owners and management.
- Encourage employees to be paid competitive salaries and benefits; provide a safe and healthy workplace in accordance with national and local legislation; and follow appropriate international best practise standards
- Maintain policies against bribery and other inappropriate payments to public officials in accordance with the Foreign Corrupt Practices or equivalent laws in operational countries.
- Respect the human rights of persons impacted by its investment activities, and take steps to ensure that its investments do not flow to enterprises that use child or forced labour or have discriminatory policies.
- Provide timely information to TTPL's partners on the concerns covered in this document, and endeavour to increase transparency about TTPL's activities.
- Encourage TTPL's portfolio firms to promote these same ideas in a way that is consistent with TTPL's fiduciary responsibility.
Policies
TTPL is committed to upholding the highest ethical and legal standards in its business activities. Integrity, transparency, and trust are key to all actions at TTPL. TTPL expects its team and affiliates to uphold high standards of business and personal ethics in the performance of their tasks and obligations, to behave with honesty in carrying out their duties, and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.
The firm has a Code of Conduct and Ethics Policy, a Whistleblower Policy, a Policy for the Prevention of Sexual Harassment, an Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Policy, a Policy on the Management of Environment, Social, and Governance Aspects, and an Anti-Money Laundering Policy.
Policy on Compliance with Anti-Bribery Laws
TTPL is committed to bribery and corrupt business practises prevention and deterrence. It is TTPL's policy to conduct its business activities with integrity and the greatest ethical standards possible, and to enforce its business practise of not engaging in bribery or corruption wherever it operates in the world.
Policy on Compliance with Anti-Corruption Laws
The Policy on Compliance with Anti-Corruption and Anti-Bribery Laws of TTPL prohibits the receipt, offering, and payment of 'bribes' and 'other illicit payments' by TTPL, its personnel, and its/their affiliates from / to any person or entity in order to secure an improper advantage, and establishes guidelines for compliance with anti-bribery and anti-corruption laws of all jurisdictions applicable to it.
Whistle Blower Policy
TTPL has implemented a Whistle blower Policy to provide a mechanism for encouraging employees of the firm or any other person or third party to raise concerns about any violations of legal or regulatory requirements, suspected improper activities, incorrect or misrepresentation of any financial statements and reports, etc. regarding TTPL (including its employees, advisors, affiliates, and portfolio companies) without fear of punishment or unfair treatment.
Anti-Money Laundering Policy
TTPL is committed to the highest corporate governance standards and the adoption of anti-money laundering protocols, including anti-terrorist financing and anti-bribery and corruption. TTPL is likewise completely dedicated to adhering to all applicable local and international rules pertaining to money laundering and the reporting of money laundering transactions.
Policy on Prevention of Sexual Harassment
